47 years and going strong!
It was 47 years ago in November that Twila and her partner opened Twietta's Beauty Nook in Minneapolis. Nobody could have imagined it would evolve into Fantasia Salon and still be around all these many years later. And, who could have known back then that women's hair loss would be epidemic due to stress, hormonal issues, medications, nutritional imbalance and many other things? Twila got started with wigs back then because she did not like her fine, thin hair so, she had wigs in evey style and color imaginable. Then she began selling them to clients for fun and fashion. In the 80's, with chemotherapy treatments becoming so prevelent, it was wonderful that Twila had the knowledge and skills to help so many people. Today, Fantasia is one of very few salons specializing custom wigs in addition to providing various solutions for thinning hair and hair loss. We truly have come a long way baby!

OPI Colored Gels
New at Fantasia!
Fantasia is one of very few salons offering colored Gel nails from OPI. There are several colors available presently and within a few months, OPI plans to have 63 different colors available. If you are looking for a change or wanting to scale back on the nail budget a bit, this could be for you. Your nails will always be shiny even if it's close to the time you need fills. If you like to change your color every week or so this may not be for you as you have to "soak" the gel off to have a new color put on. However, if you are very busy and always want your nails to look FABULOUS, this may be just the thing for you. It is at least worth a try to see if it works for you! Those of us at the salon who have tried it are loving our colored gel nails!

| Congratulations to our Making Ordinary...Extrodinary Contest winner and the runners up! Choosing a winner was extremely difficult as all of the stories we received were wonderful and very moving.
